At the Annual General Meeting of The Herdman Association on 5th November, the members of the Association voted to transfer the running of the Pavilion and Playing Field to the newly registered charity, The Herdman Association CIO. The trustees of the new charity are the former executive committee of the Herdman Association, and all assets and members transfer to the new CIO.
This is purely a governance change and there will be no alteration to the way in which the facility is run for the benefit of the community. The change responds to our growth since the Pavilion first opened.
All users should note that the entity operating the Herdman Pavilion & Playing Field is now The Herdman Association CIO, registered charity number 1214325.
